HomeBuku helps you compare home products. This page explains what information is used when you visit and how you can control optional analytics.

Your analytics choice

For US visitors, optional Google Analytics cookies are on by default unless you turn them off or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Choose Essential cookies only to turn off Analytics. This does not limit access to the site. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice at any time.

The cookie notice appears automatically for visitors outside the US, or when we cannot determine their country. We use a country code from our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to decide whether to show it. This lookup does not save your IP address or country in our site’s browser storage. US visitors can open the same controls through Cookie settings.

For visitors outside the US, our Google tag defaults to denying analytics cookie storage until you choose Accept all cookies. Before that choice, Google may receive cookieless measurements. Google determines the region used for these settings. A US audience does not restrict who can visit this site.

When your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we do not load Google Analytics, even if you previously allowed it. The Accept all cookies button is unavailable while that signal is active.

We remember your choice in your browser for up to 180 days using local storage. This preference does not track how you use the site. If your browser blocks storage, your choice applies to the current page and you may be asked again on another page. Without JavaScript, analytics stays off.

How we use analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits and interactions, such as pages viewed and links clicked. Information can include your browser and device, the page that brought you here, and your approximate location. We use these reports to understand which guides are useful and improve the site.

We have turned off Google Signals and advertising personalization in our Analytics setup. We do not send your name or email address to Analytics. Google processes analytics information on its systems, which may be outside your country. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy.

If you turn off analytics, we stop future collection through our tag and remove its accessible first-party analytics cookies. This does not erase information already collected. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Hosting and links to other sites

Our hosting provider receives information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, requested page, and browser details. Optional analytics settings do not control these basic requests.

Some product links are Amazon affiliate links. If you follow one, Amazon receives your visit and may use cookies under Amazon’s Privacy Notice. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases. Other sites have their own privacy practices.
